You enter into an art gallery with lots of paintings, sculptures and more to look at and engage with. A very nice fine dining restaurant and a great rooftop bar/cafe. Excellent service and can walk to almost anywhere you'd want to go.

From reception to checkout our stay was most enjoyable. All staff were very friendly and helpful. A shout out to the valet’s who were on the spot with retrieving our car. Roof top bar/restaurant was a great place to relax at the end of the evening. Hotel is a half a block from the waterfront and here were so many restaurants and sight seeing spots within walking distance. Highly recommended.

This was our second time staying at the Vendue and we love it so much!!! Especially the complimentary pastries every morning!

We did not start with the right foot. The rooms were very large but unfortunately we got them on the side of Bay St. and it was pretty noisy outside. The location is great. Very comfortable bed and very strong shower.

An exquisite boutique hotel in the French Quarter of Charleston. We enjoyed the daily staff attention to the little details that make a stay special that included fresh baked goodies and champagne as well as some brandy from time to time in the lobby. The art walk was a great experience as well as the roof top bar. Everyone on staff was there to help.

We were very pleased with our room and the staff. If we had any questions or a problem, they promptly help us. We loved the decor and atmosphere in the hotel.

Venue staff were all super friendly from check in to check out. Greeted us warmly each morning and evening. Liked the breakfast treats and cookies and milk at night. Very helpful and attentive group Mattress could have been more supportive, seemed quite mushy

Location and art work Lack of facilities - no mini bar, no seating dependant on hotel on opposite side of road -no room service - not normal for a four star

Great location to explore all of Charleston.

The Vendue was an all-around excellent place to stay for a long weekend birthday celebration for my wife and me. Proximity to countless Charleston sites and friendly/efficient staff stand out as do distinctive decorative charm and upscale/unstuffy vibe. Five stars!

My husband and I stayed at the Enclave for our anniversary. The location is ideal. The staff were extremely helpful with a good mix of friendliness and professionalism. We enjoyed all the extra touches like a bottle of bubbly, evening cookies and milk, and other goodies throughout our stay. We had a lovely bike ride on Saturday morning with the bikes provided. The room was spacious and well appointed. We would definitely return!

The hotel and staff were amazing from start to finish. Wine served as soon as we walked in. We were checked in by a personal assistant while seated at a table. Our luggage was removed from the car and taken straight to our room. The room was complimentary upgrade to a premier king. We received a complimentary bottle of Champagne and also a free breakfast box with muffin, croissants and fruit. Just an absolutely wonderful experience. Will stay here again.

We loved staying here! It is a lovely, clean, classy hotel. Rooms are beautiful. Staff is so nice & helpful. Just great! Thank you!

It was not clear to me that there are two facilities. They are literally across the street from one another. The one we were in did not have many amenities at all, didn’t feel it was that clean, in heavens I hope you don’t need ice because it’s a big deal to get it on top of that, my experience with Expedia was that Hotel cost included all taxes and fees, but that turned out not to be the case. We were expecting to pay for parking of course, not necessarily $46 per day, but there were other taxes and fees on the positive side, the main facility has a rooftop bar. That was nice and the lounge area was nice with quite a bit of artwork

The good stuff is the buildings are beautiful great for pics and very comfy. The mimosa and chocolate covered fruit bar on weekends was fabulous. Coffee in the mornings. Surprising continental breakfast every morning on our door (2 croissants, 2 muffins, banana apple butter and jelly) Very nice. Rooftop bar was nice. Great view and good drinks. We liked the location too. Not far from many restaurants and market and the water. we got a very nice welcome when we arrived. that was special.
