Second time at the Ryder, love the location, the vibe and hanging poolside!
-
The staff was very friendly, it is located in a great area.
-
It’s pretty Rude about the welcome drink could never find a place by the pool because they sell day passes
-
Located in close proximity to all of the attractions in the French Quarter. We were able to walk to everything. The property itself was so quaint and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great in the restaurant too and it was so nice to end our day with a dip in the pool. We highly recommend.

I would say that the Ryder exceeded every expectation I had. I booked through Expedia which I do not normally do. The hotel still honored an early check in (room was ready before 1) and gave us a food and beverage credit without me asking. The room was well equipped and impeccably clean. It was a great stay and would highly recommend!
-
We LOVED the location of Ryder. Very walkable to most everywhere we visited. It was great having a pool onsite and the coffee counter was amazing!
-

-
location, cleaniness, pool bar, ease of use. Coffee shop. easy to walk to a lot. it was gorgeous. room was extra small. pool was smaller than we thought. staff were very very nice, but a few times for normal things made us feel like they were new or didnt know basic questions like where can we get water or something to fill up water that is provided on the floors. checkin they couldnt find us and said it was under a wrong name, but my print out listed our correct name for confirmation.

Unique Boutique Hotel-If you’re looking for an intimate stylish stay, The Ryder is a great choice! The room and bathroom were spacious, the staff was helpful, and amenities (pool, bar, coffee shop) were amazing. You can walk to all of the hot spots with ease. This is def a #1 choice if staying in Charleston.

My son, my son and I stayed here to tour college of Charleston. It was in perfect walking distance to the college. It was a great clean wonderful hotel would definitely stay there again.
-
front desk people were helpful, as were all the workers. The outrageous extra fees added on to my bill ($150) to make a $444 booking a $605 total.

Superb

Pool was not available! The outdoor bar was not available
-
Amazing boutique hotel - everything you could want. Location, pool, super comfy plush pool lounges with towels, restaurant with amazing food and bar scene, rooms are great size, awesome mattress and fluffy robes. The only minimal suggestion would be a magnifying mirror in bathroom and higher end toiletries.
-
Lovely tool. Amazing friendly staff. I really only have one complaint and that’s that the gym is off site. Not helpful for me who likes to gym at 12am.
-
Great location, pool and food
-
Very aesthetically pleasing everywhere you went The pool bar staff was very friendly but astonishing slow to acknowledge anyone. It would take 10 minutes just to be looked at during the non busy hours. Would take 20 minutes just to get a drink. The food and drink menu was good though.
-
Restaurant had decent food, rooms were very clean, coffee shop was great, and so was the location- close to everything!
-
Fantastic hotel in a really convenient area of downtown Charleston. This place is very close to everything you’d want to see and do in Charleston.
