Roaches, broken elevators not clean
-
Filthy carpet, no breakfast, black tape in shower, sink about to come off wall, etc. There is no pros for this property.

After I booked I read the reviews. Many of the reviews claimed it was roach infested. I thought to myself....certainly they would address the problems and have everything corrected before my arrival. When we got to our room we were greeted by 4 roaches. There were two running around on the kitchen floor, one on the wall and one on the toilet seat. So sad. We walked out and went and found another hotel.

Rooms need to be better cleaned and sanitized.
-
Things broken in room. Room looked used
-
The price Bed bugs and roaches everywhere
-
Top notch, first class and the airport is right out the front door. Very quite at night.

The building looked very nice on the outside but the inside smelled gross, the cabinets in the room were falling apart, and worst of all, the room was crawling with bugs! We reported this to the front desk and they acknowledged an infestation and that they'd had an exterminator there the last few weeks. They asked hadn't we been informed at check-in? We were amazed! We would never have checked in had we been told! Thankfully they said they'd issue a refund and let us leave, but it has yet to appear on our card 4 days later.

Locks on side doors to entrance of building don’t work, employees are rude if you have to pickup Amazon packages or walk inside, the rooms have been vandalized, plumbing issues across all floors, cockroaches, ventilation systems have been damaged, some employees refuse to provide hotel folios so that you don’t have to pay taxes after 30 days…some drug addicts yell all night or whisper at walls, WiFi issues and cybersecurity issues…
-
Just the location and the staff Smells bad had roaches feels dirty beds and mattress needs to be replaced
-
Plumbing, air conditioning, WiFi issues, and staff is rude…
-
The whole hotel has plumbing, WiFi, and air conditioning issues.
-
When we returned to the desk, the front counter gal was kind and apologetic and informed us she would advocate for a refund.

The hotel was so dirty. Trash in the halls. My room had So Many cockroaches and other bugs. It was disgusting. Outside of South America and the South Pacific, I've never had a hotel with so many insects running throughout the room, the kitchen, and so many in the bathroom.
-
Noticeable smoke from cigarettes. Room was dirty. Broken cabinets. broken down appliances. Stained and soiled furniture Leaking facets in bathroom. I was notified at check in that housekeeping was not available and if I wanted anything I would have to get it from the front desk.

Overall, this was a decent 4-week stay given the price. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The location was good and the neighborhood was fine. The housekeepers were diligent and responsive, as was the maintenance staff. Unfortunately, the dishwasher in my room never worked despite my notifying maintenance during my first week. The room itself was OK with a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. The only other negative was noise. Thankfully, despite a lot of dogs in the property, there wasn't a problem with barking. But the room above mine held a large dog who loved to chew on and play with a heavy bone that bounced off the floor regularly. I woke up several times each night when that happened. Otherwise, not a bad place to stay.

The Mainstay Suites is the best property in Aurora. You can’t beat it for the price.

The property was well kept, clean and useful. The staff was more than accommodating, especially as my stay extended day after day after day… By the time I left I felt like part of their little hotel community. A truly genuine stay at a truly genuine hotel. Thanks!

Unfortunately, the reviews and pictures do not match the quality of the hotel. It was less than clean and the room is poorly maintained. The bed had a huge dip in one side of the bed. If you laid on the other side, you felt like you were falling off the bed if your rolled over. The shower was missing the bar that you hang your washcloth on and instead there were just holes in the fiberglass. There were bugs in the room and the kitchenette was less than "fully stocked". Staff was nice but the overall room and property were gross.

The staff was excellent! Especially Keenan ( spelling?). He was extremely helpful and professional.
