Extended Stay America Suites Amarillo West

The bathtub looked like water had backed up into it and had dirt and debris in it. Could not use the shower.

Paid 129.43 no ice at all if I got to pay that much and expensive I should be able to get a bucket of ice No ice people was being loud in out all night I was trying to get some sleep coming from Dallas to Amarillo

Unlike other hotels with kitchenettes that I have stayed in, this had nothing at all in the kitchen. No dishes, silverware, not even a coffee maker. You had to go to the front desk and check out what you needed. I found this inconsiderate and irritating. The carpet was also stained in several places and there was no lighting by the recliner.

I didn't like that the side door was broke so had to walk all the around the building to enter. Also, I expected a better breakfast. I was pretty disappointed in that. I feel they could do better for the price and type of hotel that it is.

It was very old. It smelled bad and the fridge looked horrible rusted and banged up. It also froze my food.

No communication

I didn't like that I couldn't enter using the side door I had to walk all the way around to the front.

Told me elevator was working. I ask for a ground floor for my 84 year old dad and who has cancer. Did that night. But next day. It didn’t . He had to try and walk down 3 flights of stairs. No one cared.

The Staff Stated that the Elevator was not working. so we had to take take the stairs. it was hard for Husband to use the Stairs. the Staff said to will get fixed. we left at 10am got back at 11pm. still no Elevator. Not Much to Like front Staff was Rude.

I asked for a ground room for my 84 year old dad who has cancer. They told me the elevator was working and gave me a room on the 3rd floor. It did that night and then the next day did not. Then he had try and walk down 3 flight of stairs and no cared.

They never changed sheets to bed stayed 4 days

Room was mostly clean Business model seems very predatory to me. "Pet Friendly" means paying an additional (surprise!) $57.00 per night in addition to my prepaid room rate. Housekeeping is an additional fee, cooking utensils is an additional fee, WIFI that actually works is an additional fee and on and on. Stove did not work at all, microwave was dirty. Large, stern man stood behind front desk clerk with arms folded like a henchman. Not a good experience.

Room was average .. getting clean towels was a bit hard.. lobby smelled of weed.. but not a bad place.. price was reasonable

Everything I'm the room was perfect. My only gripe is not being able to change the picture settings on the TV. Some things were difficult to watch because it was a little too dark and the color was off.

No greeting, no smile, no welcome. I was checked in and sent on my way. Didn't even tell me what direction my room was. But whatever, im grown ... dont need your help anyway

We had an issue with our booking and thankfully the staff that night was really nice and helpful! We had an issue with checking in even though I called in advance that I was going to check in late. The bedroom was fine but the mattress had hairs on it. We were so tired we didn’t complain but it looked like pet hair or black short hairs.

I was pleased on how clean it was. I felt very safe. I would stay there again. No ice.
