There was a mix up with my reservation. Totally my fault, but the manager was rude and not willing to work with me to cancel my reservation through booking. I was locked out of my room and was not allowed to get in until I paid for my stay in full at the property. So I paid for the room twice

Location and accessibility Rooms are not insulated as to sound. People were arguing in the hall and we could easily hear them as well as noise from adjoining rooms

The location is also unbeatable, with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment, making it the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway without leaving town. It’s rare to find a hotel where everything consistently exceeds expectations, but Hotel Avalon has done exactly that for us—twice. We have absolutely nothing negative to say and look forward to returning again in the future. Beautiful property, conveniently located in one of my favorite areas in Alpharetta. There are plenty of shopping and dining options only steps away from the hotel. The staff was kind, professional, and welcoming. Our room was clean, classy, and quiet. Highly recommend.

While we were staying at the Avalon they were renovating the bar area. I still had a great experience watching the New York Knicks make it to the finals

Perfect location for us for a family party in the area. The Avalon is part of a mixed resi-retail village with many high end shops and restaurants. The community also includes a Whole Foods which was a very nice bonus. We ate at the large Whole Foods for convenience given the local restaurants were often crowded and some of the menus were limited. The fitness center is spacious and fairly quiet since most folks prefer the lying by the pool. The pool are is a bit of a scene late in the day especially with the frequent weddings that the hotel hosts.
